Do you know someone working in the NHS who deserves extra praise and recognition?
Has a doctor, nurse or other health care professional gone that extra mile to help you or someone you know? Then why not consider nominating them for a Lincolnshire Health Award?
The awards are returning later this year. The event is set to be bigger and better than ever before after the success of the inaugural event, which is held in association with Lincolnshire’s NHS.
Last year, more than 250 nominations were received across the award categories. A glitzy awards ceremony was held at The Bentley Hotel where trophies and certificates were presented to the winners.
The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln on November 20, where deserving winners will be recognised for their devoted care and service to the NHS.
The awards are staged by Lincolnshire Media, publishers of the Lincolnshire Echo, Target Series and the Retford Times.
Karis Hildred, events manager at Lincolnshire Media, said: “Everyone knows the hard work and dedication that is put in by people who work in the NHS and wider health care providers, yet they often get little public recognition.
“These awards are our way of saying thank you to them for the work they do.
“Last year’s event was a huge success and we are confident that this year will be even more special.
“We hope to attract even more nominations than last year too. If you know somebody who you think deserves some recognition, please nominate them. Maybe they will be up on the stage later this year winning an award.”
