As a NHS organisation, it is essential that South West Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group involves our patients and members of the public effectively.
The Patient Council was established as part of the governance arrangements of the CCG and exists to provide assurance and scrutiny in relation to the CCG’s plans. The patient council acts as an advisory panel for the CCG where members can offer their views and expectations of the localities they represent and plays an important role in ensuring that the voice of our patients and local communities.
The Council is made of representatives from each Patient Participation Group from across 17 localities in our area and reports to our Quality and Patient Experience Committee and other committees.
Our meetings are held quarterly where patients are given the opportunity to share their views and help us make positive changes and improvements to NHS services. The feedback received at the Patient Council helps shape services for the CCG and and the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.
