Members of the Governing Body usually meet every other month to make decisions about health priorities. These are not public meetings in the normal sense, but they are Governing Body meetings held in public. The main difference is that the public are entitled to come along and listen to the Governing Body discussions but they are not able to take part.
However, the decisions of the Governing Body affect many people in Lincolnshire and South West Lincolnshire CCG would like the public to be more aware of the decisions taken.
Preceding and following the Governing Body meeting there is an informal opportunity for members of the public to meet Governing Body members to raise any queries.
The introduction by the public, or press representatives, of photographing, recording, transmitting, video or similar apparatus into meetings of the CCG or Committee thereof is not permitted. Such permission shall be granted only upon resolution of the CCG.
