Pamela Palmer, Chief Nurse (Voting)

Pamela took up the role of Chief Nurse for South West Lincolnshire CCG in March 2016 having worked in the NHS since 1990, she is a Registered Children’s Nurse, and has worked in various settings and locations both in hospitals and in the community. For many years she has held senior posts delivering safeguarding requirements for both children and adults at risk of abuse across the NHS, and successfully completed a Master’s degree in 2007.

More recently Pamela has developed experience as a commissioner and has been responsible for improving the quality of provider services and supporting patient experience issues. Pamela’s work in the CCG enables her to continue the focus on quality of care but also gives her the opportunity to develop the nursing agenda within the organisation and across the health economy
